🕙 Closed: September 8-17, September 23-24, September 30-October 1
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

Waterway Days

Join us in Moving Water as we learn about the Erie Canalway and the surrounding waterways which have crafted Buffalo and the Western New York region into the wonderful place that it is today! These programs will vary in topic, and subject matter, ranging from arts and crafts to social studies exploration, perfect for ages 3-10 and their caregiver!
Will it Float? This lesson will test children’s knowledge on buoyancy, while also helping to introduce the term, along with concepts such as displacement, and density.
