Museum Hours
Open For Play: Wednesday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
Members Only: Wednesday-Sunday: 9:30am-10am
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.
Summer Camp | Under The Sea
August 19 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until August 23, 2024
In our “Under The Sea” camp, your kiddo will enjoy a half-day jam-packed with sea-themed activities!
There will be arts and crafts, story time, and museum play time every day, including a cool sink-and-float experiment!
- Age & Participation: This camp is for ages 5-7. Kindergarten is the minimum grade to participate.
- Time: 9:00 AM – Drop-off / 11:30 AM – Pick-up
- Cost: $150 (Explore & More Members) | $175 (Non-Members)
- Pricing is designed for one week of programming
Explore & More is a New York State Office of Child & Family Services licensed and regulated School Age Child Care program
Explore & More Day Camps will follow all OCFS and CDC guidelines for safe play.
- Campers will need to bring a snack and a water bottle daily.
Additional Information
- Late pick up between 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM is available for an additional fee of $20 per child
- All classes are non-refundable and non-transferable
- All campers should wear socks and sneakers, as well as play clothes daily
- We will not serve any food, including snacks.
- Please make sure to pack a snack and water bottle for your camper (no refrigeration available)
