There are plenty of ways to volunteer and support Explore & More today and into the future. The museum welcomes volunteers with different interests and skills.
You can also volunteer at the museum or at our programming around Western New York, at special events or on a committee. By being our advocate, you can help us reach government officials, funders and the media in support of Explore & More. And if your time is limited, we always appreciate a donation!
To ensure a safe and enriching environment for everyone, all volunteers must agree to a background check before joining our team. Once we receive your application, we’ll send you the necessary Consent, Acknowledgment, and Authorization forms along with required disclosures.
Joining Explore & More as a volunteer means becoming part of a passionate team committed to play, learning, and creativity. We can’t wait to welcome you!

After you’ve filled out the Volunteer Application, you’ll be just a few steps away from making a lasting impact on the lives of children in our community. To ensure a safe and enriching environment for everyone, all volunteers must agree to a background check before joining our team. Our volunteer coordinator will send you the necessary Consent, Acknowledgment, and Authorization forms along with required disclosures. Upon successful completion of a background check, we will contact you to schedule a tour and begin the volunteer onboarding process.
