Museum Hours
Open For Play: Wednesday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
Members Only: Wednesday-Sunday: 9:30am-10am
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

Amor and Heritage: Celebrating the Season Through Dance

Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum and Amor and Heritage Traditional Dance Company will be partnering for some extraordinary fun. On Saturday December 17 at 1 pm, all museum guests are welcome to take part in traditional dance performances celebrating the Holiday season. This activity will encourage various forms of education, including, cultural, physical, and emotional, through the means of dance, and play. Guests can expect performances, dance lessons, history and culture lessons, and most importantly fun! This program will be covered with your admission to the museum, please join us!
