In this class in our fourth floor Art Studio, participants will learn how to make their own scratch paper works of art – revealing the beautiful colors underneath! This class is $3 per participating child and is recommended for ages 4-7.
Explore & More is recruiting the brightest and boldest dinosaur scientists to help build a park for dinosaurs! We will begin by learning about dinosaurs that roamed New York state and neighboring areas, then students will construct their own model habitat to take home! Join us in our 4th floor Art Studio to learn about the art of Wycinanki, or Polish Paper Cutting! Participants in this class will learn about the history of this beautiful Polish tradition and make their very own Wycinaki craft! This class is recommended for ages 9-12.
The Children’s Garden is a 1 hour program in our third floor Tinkering Tank for our littlest ones (ages 2-3) along with their parent or caregiver to engage with each other, follow a simple routine and make new friends. Celebrate this spooky time of year by learning to decorate Halloween inspired cupcakes! Each participant will learn fun decorating techniques and bring home two spooky creations. This one hour class will take place in our 4th floor Cooking Galley is intended for ages 8-12. Note: Chocolate will be used in this class. Cupcakes also contain gluten, eggs and dairy.

Celebrate this spooky time of year by learning to make your own Mummy Hot Dog! Each participant will make a deliciously spooky lunch to enjoy right in our studio! This half-hour class will take place in our 4th floor Cooking Galley is intended for ages 8-12. Note: “Mummy coverings” contain gluten.
