Culture Week, Myanmar (Burma)!

Today’s cultural activity is rescheduled from Thursday when the museum was closed due to a power outage.

This spring break, we’re traveling around the globe with crafts, activities and more that will keep your little explorers laughing and learning each day.

11:00am – 11:20am – Candle performance by Nai Bowen Lay
11:00am – 2:00pm – Padauk flower and thanaka face painting with Ma Theint and Straw Painting activity in the Workshop Room
11:00am – 2:00pm – Weaving demonstration, wrist tying ceremony, and language activity with Karen Society of Buffalo in Faces of Buffalo exhibit

This Spring Break Week is free with membership thanks to our generous donors at New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and the Charles D. and Mary A. Bauer Foundation.

Even without a membership, all activities are included with a paid general admission of $7 per person for anyone over the age of 1.
