As part of celebrating Dr. King, we ask guests to bring and donate mittens, hats, or socks that will be distributed to the children residing at Gerard Place, from January 16th-23rd.  Either drop off in-person or purchase from our Amazon Wishlist and the items will be shipped directly to us.

About Gerard Place: Gerard Place provides housing for homeless single parents and their families and empowers those parents through education, employment, vocational training, life skills classes, and counseling. Their mission is to empower individuals and families toward self-sufficiency by providing housing, supportive services, community education, and outreach.

This year we celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. storytelling, crafts and activities all focused on celebrating Dr. King’s life and teachings, both virtually and in-person. Throughout his life, Dr. King worked to achieve equality in America by fighting against racial discrimination.
