Holiday Hours:
The museum is closed on the following holidays: Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Join us in Moving Water as we learn about the Erie Canalway and the surrounding waterways which have crafted Buffalo and the Western New York region into the wonderful place that it is today! These programs will vary in topic, and subject matter, ranging from arts and crafts to social studies exploration, perfect for ages 3-10 and their caregiver!
Fishing in WNY: This hands-on craft introduces participants to wildlife that inhabits our areas waterways, including the Canalway. Children will fish for different kinds of wildlife. While also getting the opportunity to create their very own fish!
