Museum Hours
Open For Play: Wednesday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
Members Only: Wednesday-Sunday: 9:30am-10am
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

STEM Saturday

Get those wheels turning this weekend with STEM based activities power the play across the museum the third Saturday of each month. Come play your way through Science, Technology, Engineering & Math based activities that are so fun, kids don’t even know they’re learning!
Join us in the Tinkering Tank for a special STEM Saturday on April 22nd, from 11-3! In celebration of Earth Day, there will be an opportunity to learn all about the science of plants! Learn what special characteristics make up the beautiful flower; from the seeds to petals, to the stem, and more. Then, you will end up with an adorable flower souvenir to bring home with you! We can’t wait to celebrate spring with you!
