🕙 Closed: September 8-17, September 23-24, September 30-October 1
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

Explore Even More

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until November 28, 2022
Kiddos who are hopping into Kindergarten in 2023 can practice their school readiness skills in our “explore even more” program! Pre-Kindergarteners are set up for success with fun and educational activities. Not only will children play in the museum daily, but they will also practice the following Kindergarten Readiness Skill-Builders: fine motor skills (cutting, writing, using manipulatives for small motor tasks), large motor skills (large group games, balancing, climbing), social/emotional skills (socializing, making new friends, taking turns, sharing, good manners), language skills (speaking in a whole group setting, asking for assistance), reading skills (rhyming, recognizing patterns in stories, print awareness), and math skills (counting, patterning, measuring). Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays ready to learn and have fun! This class is for children aged 4 & 5.
Children should wear sneakers, bring a water bottle, and a change of clothes in a labeled plastic bag.
Children should be able to use the restroom independently.
Every Tuesday & Thursday:
Drop off: 9AM
Pick up: 11:30AM
The cost is $200 per child per month for this class.
OCTOBER ONLY: The cost is $100 per child for this class.
