Come learn all about the art of macramé and make your very own keychain to take home! In this hands-on workshop, instructor Nadeen Yousef (from Macramé by Nadeen at the West Side Bazaar) will explain traditional macramé practices and teach participants to execute basic designs. This class is recommended for ages 5-12.
Come join us on this weekly adventure of play and learning to get ready for kindergarten! Occurring Wednesdays in our Tinkering Tank from 9:30-11:30 beginning July 10th through August 28th, this “Super-Fun” readiness program is designed for children entering kindergarten to practice skills in preparation for the upcoming school year. Age-appropriate activities touching on all developmental areas will be covered through exhibits, circle time, learning centers, stories and crafts. This fun drum and dance session will get families moving to Bomba and Plena rhythms from Puerto Rico. Led by Beatriz Flores, Director of El Batey Dance Center in Buffalo. This class is recommended for ages 4-10.
– Museum admission and/or membership are required for entry.
