Driving Buffalo’s Dreams is a fully accessible, completely immersive exhibit that puts children in the driver’s seat! Design your own vehicle, and drive it through the streets of Buffalo in a larger-than-life projection of the city, then roll up your sleeves and perform maintenance on the vehicle. There’s even a Hot Wheels repair station!

Uh-oh! Something is wrong with our car and we need you to diagnose the issues and fix them! Pop the hood, slide underneath the vehicle, and change some tires to provide a full tune-up right on the museum floor!

Sit down and customize a virtual car including make, model and color, and then see it make its way around town on our giant projection wall featuring the streets of Buffalo.
Driving Test
Follow directions to make your way around town
Get behind the wheel and go through a virtual obstacle course through downtown Buffalo to see if you can obtain your driver’s license.
