Science + You: On Display Through January 9, 2027!
Explore & More’s Temporary Exhibit gallery hosts a new, unique educational exhibit every few months!
Our very first exhibit to be featured is Science + You, a child-sized laboratory where children can explore how scientists impact health and wellness.
Through hands-on, interactive machinery, processes and technology, Science + You demonstrates the role science plays in keeping the body healthy. A demonstration area of the exhibit also allows visiting scientists and educators to perform fun and interactive scientific experiments appropriate for young children.
Curriculum Connections
The exhibit draws on and supports the US National Science Standards for Young Children; the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s Program Standards; 21st Century Learning
Skills; and The National Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Standards.
