Virtual Cook the Books
cook the books with us this august as we read and cook our way through an adventure! each class will focus on one story and a recipe that goes along with it. classes can be taken individually or you can sign up for all four!
Note: classes will be hosted via Zoom. Please be sure to have the list of ingredients on hand prior to class.
Learn about Paleta or Mexican Ice Pops, a tasty treat to keep us cool all summer long. Together we will make Paletas (Mexican Ice Pops) that are all the colors of the rainbow just like the story. You will need all fresh fruit (any kind), water, sugar and Popsicle molds or an ice cube tray and craft sticks. We will be using freezer space for this program so make sure your freezer is ready!
Ingredients: fresh fruit of any kind, water, sugar, crafts sticks and a popsicle mold or an ice cube tray

world pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza?! In this program we will learn about how a love of pizza can bring people together. We will make personal pizzas with our favorite toppings! You will need an English muffin, pizza sauce, cheese and your favorite pizza toppings! We will be using the stove top and a pan for this program so make sure you bring your grown up with you to class today!
