What could be more fun than hosting your next birthday party at Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum? Enjoy 1.5 hours in our brand-new Celebration Room before heading out into the museum for fun and play!

Catering
Special birthday party rates and food packages available. Specific dietary accommodations can be facilitated. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. All food and beverages served – including desserts – must be coordinated through our our on-site eatery, The Low Bridge Café.
Fees
$350 room rental, this includes admission to the museum for up to 20 people (10 children & 10 adults). 10 additional people may be added on at $10 per person, up to a maximum of 30 people in the party room. Explore & More members save 23%, an $80 value!

Reserve your birthday party package
Dates and times fill up quickly, so book early! To book your birthday party either call (716) 655-5131 ext. 4, email bookings@exploreandmore.org or fill out the request form below. We will contact you to discuss an Explore & More birthday party package and available dates and details.
NOTE: This form is merely a request for a date, and not an official reservation of a birthday party. Parties are not booked until the date has been cleared on the phone and a deposit is made.
What to expect on the day of the party
Arrival and Check-in
Your purchase of a birthday party package includes free admission for your guests!
Host Arrival
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled contract time. A party facilitator will be available to help transport party supplies to your private room. You will then be ready to access your room promptly at the scheduled time. Your party assistant will assist with set-up and do whatever he or she can to make your day special.
Guest Arrival
Guests will check-in at the Admissions Desk. Adults will receive a wristband and guests will be directed up to the Celebration Room on the 3rd Floor.
Party Flow
During your rental, you can schedule your party and use the party room however you like. To maximize the use of the private room, we suggest the following timeline for a successful party:
Scheduled Arrival Time: This is the time you will be able to enter the room for set-up. A party facilitator will be available to greet you with a cart to bring supplies to the party room and assist with the set-up of any tabletop décor.
Part 1 of Party (30 minutes): Welcome your guests and begin the facilitated activity.
Part 2 of Party (30 minutes): Serve your food and beverage.
Part 3 of Party (30 minutes before scheduled end time): Make sure all guests are back in the party room to serve cake and take birthday photos (Remember to share and tag #exploreandmore). Thank guests and remind them that they are free to enjoy the Museum until closing.
Scheduled End Time: Museum party facilitator will begin room clean-up and will help with loading gifts, food, and party supplies in your cart.
