The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation has committed $2 million to the endowment fund, pending the museum raising an additional $2 million. This means that every donor’s contribution to the Play Forever Endowment is matched through the support of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation challenge.
Trikes for Tikes
This year, Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum hosted its inaugural Trikes for Tikes campaign, an effort to donate Radio Flyer tricycles to children in need and fund the museum’s Play Forever endowment.
Participants contributed $75 to the Explore & More Play Forever endowment fund and received two Radio Flyer tricycles – one to get and one to give.
Donations allowed Explore & More to distribute a tricycle reminiscent of the museum’s beloved rooftop tricycle to 75 children here in Western New York through the Buffalo Police Department, West Side Community Services, and Western New York Peacemakers.
Simultaneously, contributions helped build the museum’s endowment, which strengthens Explore & More and ensures future generations of children will be able to play forever.
Donations to the Trikes for Tikes campaign were matched, dollar for dollar, by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation.
