Remembering Jon Dandes

Today, we honor the life and legacy of our Board Chair Jon Dandes, who passed away Sunday. He was a tireless and passionate advocate for Explore & More and for the community he cared so deeply about.

Jon’s leadership, generosity, and vision will leave a lasting imprint. As our chair, he drove us each day to be best in class and to meet – and exceed – a high standard. He also pushed us to always find the fun and joy in our work. His unwavering dedication to the museum and Western New York will be tremendously missed.

His impact was profound, and his legacy is one we can only hope to emulate. Like so many, we are especially grateful to have known, worked with, and to have learned from Jon. We honor his lasting contributions as we keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
