Explore & More’s Touch A Truck presented by Modern is set for Sunday, July 27 at Canalside. The premier event of the summer brings 50+ trucks, construction vehicles, and vendors to the museum’s doorstep for kids to have hands-on experiences for FREE.
Please stay tuned to our website, Facebook page, and Instagram account for up-to-the-minute event updates.

All outdoor activities are free. No registration is required.
Explore & More will be open to the public on July 27 from 10am-3pm with reduced museum admission of just $6 thanks to Savarino DL&W Development. Use code TRUCK when purchasing tickets online.
Fun truck-themed crafts and activities are planned inside the museum’s Art Studio and Tinkering Tank.
Outside, guests can check out Explore & More’s Family Fun Tent presented by the Construction Industry Education Foundation and programmed by Explore & More for great activities. Children can receive a free Little People toy vehicle, courtesy of Fisher-Price, while supplies last.
The museum’s in-house restaurant will be open to everyone during the event. The Low Bridge Café, located on Explore & More’s first floor by the replica canals, will have food, snacks and refreshments available all at an affordable price so families can relax and enjoy an easy bite to eat! We’ll also be serving up special Truck Tire Desserts featuring Perry’s Ice Cream, the official ice cream of Explore & More, as part of our National Ice Cream Month festivities.

The Explore & More Gift Shop will also be open to the public during normal museum hours.
Visitors can purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win fun items including the grand prize of a Hot Wheels Super Garage. Tickets will be on sale exclusively at Touch A Truck. We’ll pull a winning ticket on July 27!
Families driving in should be aware that Lloyd St, Prime St, Hanover St, and Perry St. around the museum will be closed during Touch A Truck. Families can also take the NFTA train to Canalside. Metro Rail service is free at all above-ground stations.
