Museum Hours
Open For Play: Wednesday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
Members Only: Wednesday-Sunday: 9:30am-10am
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

STEM Saturdays presented by National Grid

Get those wheels turning this weekend with STEM based activities power the play across the museum the third Saturday of each month presented by National Grid. Come play your way through Science, Technology, Engineering & Math based activities that are so fun, kids don’t even know they’re learning!
Penn Dixie returns to close out the year by exploring different types of fossils. In the Tinkering Tank we’ll hit the slopes and take the ski challenge! Children will construct their own mini skier and see if it will make it down the ski slope. Be sure to check online for our Sanity Savers to keep the STEM fun going at home, too!
