Event Series: Farmers Fest Weekend

Farmers Fest Weekend

October 10 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

We’re celebrating the hard work of our local farmers with Farmers Fest, a two-day event at Explore & More presented by Milk For Health and the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition!

We’ll have fun activities in our studios, including Build A Barn in the Tinkering Tank, decorating a cow in the Art Studio, smoothie tasting in the Cooking Galley, courtesy of Milk For Health (while supplies last), and special dairy-themed demonstrations in Science + You.

Visit the Mobile Dairy Experience at Canalside from 10am-3pm on Saturday or Sunday and score $4 off same-day museum admission! There will also be a cheese stick giveaway at the MDE.

The Mobile Dairy Experience is a hands-on, multi-sensory experience designed to educate guests of all ages on the importance of dairy farming and benefits of dairy products. When fully setup, the 53-foot, double-expandable trailer transforms into more than 1,000 square feet of immersive exhibit space featuring state-of-the-art technology and captivating imagery. This one-of-a-kind experience, which is ADA accessible, enables the NYAAC to connect with consumers directly where they live, work, and learn.
