Museum Hours
Open For Play: Wednesday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
Members Only: Wednesday-Sunday: 9:30am-10am
Closed: Monday and Tuesday
The museum is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day (Monday and Tuesday), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
There may be additional closures due to severe weather. Check Explore & More’s social media channels and local news outlets for updates on delays and closings.

Spooky Movie Prop Makers!

$7Classic monster movies might seem scary but once you learn about the special effects, they can become fun and even silly! Join us in our 3rd floor Tinkering Tank as we take a look into 1930’s-1950’s monster movies and discover how they were made. Then we will be crafting our own spooky hand prop and then making our own ghost to take home! This class is intended for ages 8-12 and is 1.5 hours long.
