What color are you feeling today? Explore emotions at Explore & More’s Play & Learn Playgroup, for preschool children with disabilities. Children will enjoy guided museum play, an adaptive story time – The Color Monster by Anna Llenas, and rainbow themed child centered activities. Parents will take home a feelings chart to help children learn to identify their emotions.
Join us for a playgroup style pre-K class for diverse little learners and their parents/ caregivers. This class will meet the needs of children who benefit from a multi-sensory, flexible learning approach, and adapted materials. Children will have the opportunity to play in the museum at a quieter, sensory friendly time. Themed child centered activities will be provided that focus on social-emotional, pre-academic, communication, and motor skills. Parents will have the opportunity to connect with each other in a supportive environment. We will also provide follow up activities for home and advocacy resources.

This class is designed for ages 3 – 4 years old with autism/diverse learning needs.
Cost: $10 per child. Purchase includes admission to the museum after class for participating child and one adult/caregiver.
Please purchase admissions tickets for any other adult or child in your group if you are planning on staying at the museum after class.
