We’re celebrating all things Earth Day thanks to our friends at LaBella. We’re creating wind-powered cars, climate action-hero comic books, decorating mini planters and filling them with seeds and so much more!
Join us in Moving Water every Wednesday from 10 AM - Noon as we learn about the Erie Canalway and the surrounding waterways which have crafted Buffalo and the Western New York region into the wonderful place that it is today! The Children’s Garden is a 1 hour program in our third floor Tinkering Tank for our littlest ones (ages 2-3) along with their parent or caregiver to engage with each other, follow a simple routine and make new friends.

What: Growing Me is the next step after Children’s Garden. This is a one-hour program for ages 4-5 where we focus on Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness skills. In this class children will grow their confidence by practicing skills independently while still receiving parental supervision. Members-only playtime means that our members get access to all the fun and play the museum has to offer, just with other members! This special members-only playtime is a perk that comes free with every membership.
Join us at Explore & More for FOLK ART FRIDAYS every Friday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, as we conduct activities that will immerse children and families in different forms of folk art, from dance and movement to songs and storytelling, to costuming and crafts.
