Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

11:00-2:00 Monday, January 21

Join us as children and their families come together to explore topics of diversity, acceptance, tolerance and kindness through the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will be making “I have a dream” crowns where children are encouraged to draw a picture or write their dream. We will be enjoying a puppet performance based on the book It’s Ok to be Different with a focus on diversity and acceptance. We will also be enjoying a jazz trio ensemble with professional musicians from the Historic Colored Musicians Club who have a wealth of musical and historical information to share. We will be open from 10-5 on Monday, January
